At ASL19, we are committed to protecting the privacy of our end users. We do our best to keep the information you generate while using Factnameh and collected through our services secure. The Factnameh website has gone through an independent security audit and passed the penetration test, with recommended security measures fully implemented.

Your privacy is important to us. By using our services on Factnameh, you agree to this privacy policy. Considering that Factnameh is a new and developing platform, this policy may change and new items may be added. The modification will be reflected on this page. Your continued use means you agree to the latest version of Factnameh’s privacy policy.

Right to Erasure (The "Right to be Forgotten")

We are committed to protecting your privacy by minimizing data collection. Regarding your right to erasure (also known as the "Right to be Forgotten"):

• Collection: We do not collect names, emails, addresses, or other Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
• Storage: We do not store user data on our servers.
• Logs: Our server logs are scrubbed of PII and are used solely for system stability, without tracking individual user activity.

Exercising the Right to Erasure and Data Deletion

As a third-party application relying on the Meta Developer Platform to enable the embedding of Instagram content, we are required by the Platform Terms (DFCP 4.b) to provide users with a clear method to request the deletion of any associated data.

Our Deletion Commitment and Timeframe: We maintain that we do not collect or store PII. However, upon receiving a verifiable request, we will take the following actions:

1. Deletion: We will immediately and permanently delete any and all records, logs, or identifiers (including any non-PII app-scoped user IDs provided by the platform) that could potentially be associated with your activity.
2. Timeframe: We commit to processing your request and completing all necessary deletion steps within thirty (30) days of verifying your request.
3. Confirmation: We will provide you with a confirmation that any data we held, if any, has been successfully deleted from our systems.

Google Analytics

Factnameh uses Google Analytics to improve user experience, platform performance and gather statistics. These include statistics about your browser version, operating system, device (desktop, phone or tablet), language, website visit duration, as well as the number of unique users, and new users, etc. The information obtained from Google Analytics is used only for statistical purposes to measure user behavior on the website. The obtained information won’t be matched with any other source that can result in identifying the individual. By placing a permanent cookie on your browser, Google Analytics identifies you as a unique user on subsequent visits. This cookie cannot be used by anyone except Google and the obtained information cannot be used or simulated for other systems and services on other domains.

Google’s ability to use and share the collected information by Google Analytics is limited to Google’s terms of use and privacy policy. You can control this by turning off cookies in your browser settings.

Data Transfer Security

To protect the information transferred while using the Factnameh website, all your communications with Factnameh’s servers and website are governed by the HSTS Web Security Policy. This means that connecting browsers or other user agents to Factnameh’s servers will only be possible through the use of Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS).

In simple words, when you use the Factnameh website, your activities are encrypted and the Internet service provider or any other internet monitoring agent is not able to monitor your activities while using the Factnameh website.
